We shot everything we needed this weekend, and all went smoothly.

We’re gearing up for our second (and final) round of pickup shots this weekend.
Looks like we’ll have great weather, and I can’t wait to get this footage edited into the movie!

We are rounding up folks to help us with the effects work that needs to be done.

There are dozens of shots that need various bits of work done to them. The more help we get, the faster they get done. Makes sense.

I found out today that there are one or two little rumors floating around about Hellphone.
I find that very encouraging, even though one of the rumors is that we are out of money and not going to finish.
Rumors mean people care and are talking about the movie. In a roundabout way, but still, it’s talking.

We had a very productive shoot this evening. We got some new scenes with Chief Casey (Larry Parks) and re-did some shots with Charlie (Mack McClain).
Along to help Stephen and I were Yanni, Brett, Marie, Mickey and Judy.
I’m very excited to add these shots into the movie!

I enjoy writing, most of the time. But I was very glad when we started shooting last summer, because it meant that I could stop writing the script.
Except that it didn’t mean that, because I had to keep tweaking things the whole shoot.

We are gearing up for day 1 of 3 of pick up shots.
This Sunday we are getting some new scenes with Chief Casey shot. I’m looking forward to working with Larry again, and shooting with the awesome crew we have.
