That’s when I first came up with the idea for “Hellphone”. Around 1am one night, trying to fall asleep and it popped into my head. I jotted down the opening (which stayed remarkably the same through 18 rewrites) and plot notes, and also recorded some ideas onto my cell phone, which had a voice recorder built in.
Don’t remember the exact date, I think I wrote it down somewhere. But, it was February 2006.
