more to come

We are gearing up for day 1 of 3 of pick up shots.
This Sunday we are getting some new scenes with Chief Casey shot. I’m looking forward to working with Larry again, and shooting with the awesome crew we have.

farming out

I’m starting to get clips out to folks to do various effects/clean up on them.
It’s nice to know I’m not going to have to do certain things. Quite a relief. I have enough to do as it is…

We need Minions!

We are shooting a pick-up scene involving minions on Saturday, March 6 here in Greensboro.
We’d like to get some of our “regulars” back for this to help with continuity, but we also have room for a couple new folks.

It will be an evening shoot, and shouldn’t take more than a couple hours.

If interested, please contact [...]

pick ups

That’s the “industry term” for more shooting. We need to add a couple scenes to help the flow of the movie, and will reshoot part of one scene to make it better.

More later, but we will need minions for one scene. Details will be sent out next week.

End credits song

Check out our closing credits song.

Very talented band called Stratocruiser.

I jotted down the opening (which stayed remarkably the same through 18 rewrites) and plot notes, and also recorded some ideas onto my cell phone, which had a voice recorder [...]

it’s cold

I remember how hot it was when we were shooting Hellphone. Well, except the freezing night we had the actors jump in the lake.
But, anyway, the cold and snow are a good indicator of how much time has passed since the shoot. We’ve gotten a lot accomplished, but still have a lot to do.
It’s going [...]

Hellphone at Sundance

Here’s a shot of Yanni Batsios out at the Sundance Film Festival wearing his official Hellphone Crew shirt (which are available for sale in our online store!).
Yanni was an invaluable member of the production crew, and will be an invaluable member of the post-production crew shortly.
No word on any offers from major studios, but I’m [...]
